Eleni Protopapa
History Education
Eleni always wanted to be a teacher. She is short-sighted because she would wear her mum’s reading glasses when she didn’t need them, pretending she was a teacher. As a teenager she focused on dance, art, and, being silly! With all her activities, she forgot she wanted to be a teacher. She truly didn’t realise what a cross-disciplinary profession it was.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and History of Art & Architecture, and a Master’s degree in Cultural Heritage Studies. During her studies, she held internship positions at the Science Museum (London) and the Princess Maha Shakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre (Thailand). Upon completing her studies in 2010, she set up a cultural spot ('σκιά' / 'skia'); a project space focused on providing a platform for young artists and applying what she had learned during her Master’s degree.
In 2011 she started tutoring History for international examinations like Edexcel and Cambridge International Examinations. In 2012 and 201
