Coreyah
Korean Traditional/World Music group
Coreyah is a Korean Traditional/World Music group consisted of four Korean traditional music players, one guitarist, and one world percussionist.
Coreyah introduces new Korean music trend by combining various, world-wide traditional music with contemporary music, keeping the beauty of Korean traditional instruments.
Starting in 2011, Coreyah has participated in a variety of activities. It was chosen as the Tune Up Musician(CJ culture foundation) and TOP 16 at the KBS "Top Band 2" program, further showing up in Edinburgh Fringe Festival, France Cannes MIDEM.
Austin Seungmin Lee
Assistant Professor, School of Design, Carnegie Mellon University
Professor Lee is interested in how progressive user interface, such as augmented reality can influence our daily lives. A former UX Designer at Microsoft, Lee took part in the design of Skype's HoloLens companion experience. Previously, at the MIT Media Lab’s Tangible Media Group, Lee has explored system design for collaborative drawing and sharing 3D information in virtual settings. Lee is currently an assistant professor at Carnegie Mellon School of Design where he teaches vision-driven interactions and progressive user interface design.
Gregor Konzack
Seoul National University, International Studies, Ph.D Student
Gregor Konzack is a graduate student of International Studies at Seoul National University. He is interested in how East Asia's past is influencing its present and future. Being a German he has often been confronted by Koreans about his opinion on Japan's war time past and their understanding of history. Now he researches about Korea and East Asia to understand how we can make the best out of shared history for a common future.
Jiwon Baik
Architect, CEO of Urbantainer
Architect Jiwon Baik is CEO of 'Urbantainer', whose motto is 'A delightful bowl that contains the city'. This company makes the space platform using containers that integrates design, architecture, interior design, media, graphic arts, marketing, and contents development.//In order to change expensive, slow, boring city architecture into inexpensive, fast, and fun one, he paid attention to a container box. By modularizing container boxes to attach them like assembling Lego blocks, he made diverse structures like Platoon Kunsthalle, Naver Appsquare, Commonground, etc. and won the three grand award of designㅡReddot, IDEA, iFㅡand the Korean Institute of Architecture Award.
Seonghwan Park
Professor of Forensic science in Korea Univ.
Park is an eminent professor of forensic science in Korea University and trustee of director in 'The Korean Society for Legal Medicine'. He is also known as one of the researchers of forensic entomology. Because forensic entomology is the convergence between two studies of a different nature, it is fairly difficult to advance it. Nevertheless, He endeavors to lay the fundaments of the forensic entomology in Korea.
