In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She holds a bachelors degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from SCT College of Engineering, Trivandrum, and a masters in management from Warwick Business School, UK, where she attended with a full scholarship (the Jubilee Scholarship, funded by the British Government and the British Council). She has worked in product management and marketing.

He has special expertise in standardizing and fine turning several laboratory level concepts and ideas into socially relevant projects. Dr. Sunny George has been awarded fellowships by various countries namely India, Belgium, Germany and United States . He is also an alumni of the United Nations University, Tokyo. He has wide experience in research and consultancy and in implementing of socially relevant projects and has worked extensively in European Universities and Institutes. He was a member of Indian Water Mission to United States and to Germany .

John is an entrepreneur, programmer and designer who have pure passion to make innovative ideas a reality. Along with his 5 friends he, co-founded Riafy Technologies, one of the premier app studios in the world. He is also a joint patent holder on relational intelligence - a system used to power their apps. The launch of Cookbook in September 2013 - a cooking app that let people discover recipes they would love to eat, was a milestone in his extraordinary journey. Riafy became the first company in India to be honored with both the Top Developer and Editors' Choice badges on Google Play. He and his team believe that technology makes sense only when it can touch people's lives. Hence they focus on building experiences, not just products. And that seems to work out, their apps are used by 15 Million people spanning 157 countries and 21 languages today.

Saarang Sumesh

An 8 year old Maker.

A young innovator from Kochi, kerala. Saarang started making complex models like internal combustion engine when he was three years old. His imagination and interest found new limits with the latest LEGO robotic kit he got at the age of 4. He made numerous Robots like Humanoid, Walk Stick for Blind, Cleaning Robot, Robotic Hand etc with the new Kit. At the age of 7 after getting introduced to electronics and Arduino, Saarang started building complex projects like Electronic Clock and Smart Seat Belts etc. At this young age he attended various tech fest, Maker Week End at Cusat, Techfoss at TocH, MakerFest at Ahmadabad (makerfest.com), LEGO league at Coimbatore. Recently Saarang exhibited at the largest Maker Faire in the world at Silicon Valley, USA (makerfaire.com), where he was the Youngest attendee.
