Craig Thatcher started a group of 10-13 year old boys which make up a fun performance ensemble dedicated to bettering performance skills in the area of music, reading, teamwork, goal setting, and entertaining others while playing their music on trash cans.
He started out with a few students jamming in the dark and is now a fixture in Santa Barbara. Not only do the the kids learn important drumming skills, they also learn to perform in front of live audiences. But most importantly, they’ve learned personal responsibility and the importance of giving back to the community – traits that will serve them well in life. BOOM has raised over $15K for charities around the world.

Dance
Jojo Siwa characterizes herself as a home-schooled kid from Nebraska whose love of dance propelled her to Hollywood stardom. After a successful debut on "Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition," she was shocked at the hateful comments about her performance. Determined not to let others intimidate her, she turned that negativity around and has launched an anti-bullying campaign.
Non-profit visionary
Spencer Dusebout, president of Hands4Others, a non-profit bringing fresh water to global villages, proves that youth doesn’t disqualify anyone from making an impact. He co-founded H4O at the age of 16. H4O is supplying fresh water to areas of the world that did not have it.
