Theme: Discovering the Obvious

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi Görsel İletişim Tasarımı Bölümü’nde okudu, bitiremedi. Girişimci ruhuyla kurduğu sosyalmedya.co'yu 3.5 senenin sonunda 2014 Temmuz'unda Webrazzi'ye sattı ve Türkiye'nin ilk içerik sitesi satışını yapmış oldu. 7 Haziran genel seçimleri için Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi'nin seçim kampanyasında 27 kişilik ekibiyle Türkiye'nin bütçesel ve içerik envanteri bakımından en büyük dijital kampanyasını yönetti. 2015 Haziran ayında Bilhassa'yı kurdu ve 13 kişilik ekibiyle kurumlara/markalara dijital-odaklı reklam stratejileri üretiyor.

Nesim Erkip

Prof. Erkip received his MS and PhD from Stanford University and is a scholar in field of Industrial Engineering. He has been teaching since 1979 and he has held positions in Cornell, UC Berkeley, Stanford and many other prestigious institutions. Prof. Erkip is a founding member of Science and Technology Policy Studies Graduate Program at METU, and had been part of several initiatives active in preparing reports on Science and Technology Policy issues in Turkey. He has been involved in strategic planning activities for private and public higher educational institutions. Prof. Erkip is a member of the TED University, Board of Trustees since 2010.
