Akropoditi Dancetheater
Akropoditi Dancetheatre was established in 2004 in Syros, with the initiative of Angeliki Sigourou. Since of 2005 operate as non-profit organization based in Syro. In January of 2013 was created the dance center, a contemporary expression and creation Akropoditi, which works like Course Studio and as Laboratory Centre, Artistic Actions and Events.
Architects
Laertis- Antonios Vasiliou was born in Athens in '83 and was raised in Rhodes. He is an architect in profession with a degree from the National University of Athens in 2008 and Victor Horta/Bruxelles in 2006. He continued on with postgraduate studies in architectural design in Tu Delft in 2013.
Pantelis Kampouropoulos was born and raised in Rhodes ('83). He is an architect in profession with a degree from the University of Patra in 2011 and a further degree in restoration and renovation of buildings from the Technical College/University of Patra in 2007.
Their successful colaboration in 2012 has led them to cofound the Open Platform of Architecture office in 2014 based in the city Haarlem in Holland. Mr. Vasiliou and Mr. Kampouropoulos have successfully published articles in collaboration and individually. They have also participated in and attended trade fairs and exhibitions. They have been awarded both in Greece and abroad for the research and implementation of their achievements
Sma Rag Da
Smaragda Alexandri, aka Sma Rag Da, is a musician. When she was 13 years old, as an active tennager, tried to express her creativity through music.
When she was 20, she started playing and composing entirely her own music and lyrics. Sma Rag Da’s music characterized by melodic, optimist and confessional sounds. Sma Rag Da released her debut album with the name "Queen of the Surreal" through Mahayana Records and is currently working one her new album while studying Commercial Music at the University of Westminster in London. She never stops composing music and generate positive feelings.
George Katsaggelos
Photographer, University Professor
George Katsaggelos studied photography as a scholarship student in BROOKLYN COLLEGE of New York. His teacher was Walter Rosenblum. He is a professor of Fine and Applied Arts Department of the Aristotle University of Fine Arts. He was the president of the Photography Museum in Thessaloniki from 1996-1998 and director of the Film Museum of Thessaloniki from 2002 to 2005. From 2006 until 2010 he was the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is currently professor in the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of A.U.TH. George Katsaggelos has widely presented in Greece and abroad his works and they can be found in several museum collections in the US.
Architect engineer (specializing in humanitarian architecture)
Jai Mexis grew up in India from where he got his strange name for a Greek. He studied architecture as a scholarship student in breathtaking but rainy Scotland, and specialized in the Humanitarian architecture, grace in which his diploma was awarded. Shortly he decided to return to Greece and open an architectural office, and when the refugee crisis erupts in Lesvos, he starts to make repeated voluntary missions. He soon founded the ‘Odyssea’ organization, which first project is the processing of garbage from refugee flows (boats and life jackets) in new utilitarian objects for refugees and creating new jobs for locals.
Psychiatrist Programs Application Assoc.Manager in OKANA (Scientific Director)
He was born in Athens in 1968. He studied at the Medical School of the National University and chose the specialty of psychiatry. Since 2000, working in OKANA, in Athens and Piraeus, in which he developed most of his scientific activity in the addictions field in clinical, educational and administrative level.
He is mainly interested in the scientific and non-dogmatic treatment of the phenomenon, the reduction of stigma and marginalization, the increasement of the access and retention in treatment and the harm reduction.
In his personal life he concerns himself with life, the universe and (almost) everything.
Farmer
Lefteris Trikiriotis after his studies as automation engineer, decided to move to the countryside and settled in Ikaria in 2006. He decided that he prefers the natural environment as a workplace and sought different ways to connect with the environment through exploration, observation, understanding and familiarization. Alongside he works since then as a farmer, crofter, beekeeper, food gatherers and field guide. Experiencing the joy and difficulties of primary production, by being partially self-sufficient. Currently he has settled down near Harakas River in northwest of Ikaria where he lives his life in an olive-grove

Having attended Konstantinos Manos & Ed Kashi’s workshops on photojournalism, after 24 years specialising in Asian and African territories, her work has been exhibited internationally from galleries, to schools, slums, bazaars, hotels. Her photographic articles have been published in Greek and International media: BBC, LFI, Journal du Dimanche, National Geographic, Newsweek, Vice, Days Japan, Der Spiegel, NZZ, Take Part.com, K, Vimagazino, Dagens Nyheter.
She collaborates with the US Polaris photo agency. She is instructor in Οrama school of Photography. For a long time she was teaching photography voluntarily to women inmates in the Greek prisons.

Panos Trahanias is a Professor with the Department of Computer Science, University of Crete, Greece and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH). In the past he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, Canada, and was a consultant to SPAR Aerospace Ltd., Toronto. Since 1993 he is with the University of Crete and FORTH. Currently, he is the head of the Computational Vision and Robotics Laboratory, engaged in research and RTD projects in cognitive systems and intelligent autonomous robots. Prof. Panos Trahanias has pursued many successful European- and Nationally-funded projects and has received RTD grants from industry. He has published extensively in the areas of visual perception, intelligent robots, human-robot interaction and robotic cognition. He has served in the Program Committees of many International Conferences in computer vision, computer graphics and robotics, and has been chair of Eurographics 2008.

Sofia lives and works in Athens and occupies herself mainly with the development of corporate identity,logo design,branding,visual communication,illustrations and design packing. She has had the privilege of undertaking many international projects with a client list that goes beyond the Greek borders.Her greatest satisfaction is seeing the brands she has solely undertaken from the start grow and bloom.Her projects have been presented in international design publications and design magazines, and have gained prominence in both international competitions and the Greek Awards for Graphic Design and Illustration.This past year she obtained the award of Best Agency of the World 2015 at the Best Brand Awards /BBA which stands for the international competition of Design ,focusing on the high quality of logo design and awarding brands which stand out internationally in the visual communication department.
Head of Environmental Policy at WWF Greece
Theodota Nantsou was born in Athens, she studied philosophy, and has a Master in environmental ethics in Britain. Since 1990 she is actively engaged in environmental protection, and so she began to voluntarily participate in collaborative research and informative activities for the protection of sea turtles. She has also worked voluntarily with wildlife care organizations. Since 1991 she began to cooperate voluntarily with the WWF office in Greece. Since 1993 she is a permanent member of WWF Hellas, in which she coordinates the policy section. Her great challenge is to show to all the decision makers that long term free economy without ecological sustainability and social development simply can not exist.
Vasiliki Kalodimou
Researcher specialized in stem cells
Dr. Kalodimou is researching stem cells from the placenta, umbilical cord and adipose tissue, in daily practice and their applications in regenerative medicine and flow cytometry. She is working in the field of human genetics and population genetics, as well as the cellular standards. Her first book, Basic Principles in flow cytometry, was published in 2010 and 2013
