About our facilitators:
BOBBI VAN: Connector and change agent, Bobbi Van began pursuing her passion to create fine art over a decade ago. Since then her work has been featured internationally at venues including Lincoln Center and the Museo Regionale in Mexico. As an advocate for helping people step up to the plate in life, Bobbi also works privately as a creative coach. Bobbi Van sees her life as a work of art. For her everyday is a new adventure filled with possibility in seeing the beauty in the simple and easily overlooked. She began her career as an artist and a sculptor over a decade ago, when her work drew the attention of many collectors and her work has shown in Lincoln Center, Regionale Museo in Moralia, Mexico, Guild Hall, East Hampton, the Navila Group and the Asia Contemporary Art Fair in Hong Kong and the FLUX ART FAIR in Harlem. Bobbi also has been mentoring young people who have been abused and set aside by helping them tell their story through art.
ADRI ANGOTTI: Adri Angotti is a Creative Director in conscious advertising & founder of Lucid Conversations™ - a platform dedicated to "re-brand" the way Sexual Energy is portrayed and experienced in our culture. Adri was in her early twenties when, parallel to her advertising carrier, she started studying Bio-Energetics, Neuroscience, Quantum Physics, Metaphysics and Epigenetics. Through these sciences she stumbled upon key information and discovered that there's much more to our Sexual Energy then our culture would like us to know. Sexual energy is an alignment force that, when used correctly, can harmonize the body and empower the mind. On the other hand, sexually unfulfilled individuals can be easily controlled. Realizing that learning about this information is a human right, she travelled the world to deepen her studies and started spontaneous conversations about the subject - which rapidly evolved into more organized meetings. Today she teaches "Sex & Quantum Physics" courses in the US and Internationally - where you can learn game-changing information about Sexual Energy that will directly impact all areas of your life. ABOUT OUR SALONS
Unlike most TEDx events which focus on a presentation format, TEDxNewYorkSalon is designed by our team of curators to spark conversation and dialogue, throughout the event. Rather than spotlighting individual speakers or facilitators, we create the soft space for hard conversation. During these gatherings, we screen one evocative TED Talk (via projector) followed by a lively conversation. The featured TED talk is a surprise, but we promise it will ignite deep thinking and connection. We look forward to seeing you there!
