TEDxNewYorkSalon is an intersectional community of diverse, open-minded and passionate individuals, who connect via private salons and other curated events. The longest running and most active TEDx program in New York City, our community has met almost every Friday since 2009. This week, Tish Vallés facilitates and curates.

ABOUT TISH VALLÉS

Tish was a Global Brand Strategist and Storyteller. She has won a Clio Award for print, a Scholar Award for planning effectiveness and designed a breakthrough ethnographic approach that went on to win an Atticus Award for original thinking in communications. In he nearly 20 year career, she has worked on the world's iconic brands and non-profits. Tish cofounded the Women's Worldwide Web, an online platform dedicated to the educational and economic empowerment of the world's girls and women. She is currently the US Associate for a global boutique brand consultancy and is co-founder of Twice Five Miles, a creative think tank. A poet and a writer, Tish is working on her first novel.

A member of the community since 2009, Tish holds the TEDxNewYorkSalon license and serves as lead organizer and programming director.

Doors open at 5:00 pm, the screening begins at 5:30 pm. Tickets are available free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis.
