FitkinWall

Multi-harpist Ruth Wall has recently performed with BBC Concert Orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra, Goldfrapp, Kathryn Tickell and Adrian Utley. She has recorded for EMI, Mercury, Sony and Universal, and latterly for films Joan of Arc and Sightseers. Composer Graham Fitkin has recently composed for Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Royal Ballet, Jasmin Vardimon, BBC Symphony Orchestras, Yo-Yo Ma and the Royal Opera House. He won the 2015 RPS Composer Award and previously two BASCA British Composer Awards.

J. Willgoose, Esq.

Public Service Broadcasting is the corduroy-clad brainchild of London-based J. Willgoose, Esq. who, along with his drumming companion, Wrigglesworth, is on a quest to inform, educate and entertain audiences around the globe.

Natalie Gauci feat.Talvin Singh and Iain McDonald

Natalie Gauci is an artist, a singer, songwriter, musician and producer. Natalie auditioned and won Australian Idol. After that exhilarating and life changing experience Natalie went on a journey of self discovery. She released Ray Of Love (Tune In Tokyo) and toured through Europe, then took time to reflect, moved to London and put her heart and soul into being a singer/songwriter. Talvin Singh OBE was born in London in the early 1970s. His upbringing in a vibrant and multicultural city and the sacred heritage of Indian classical and folk music have continued to inform his award-winning music. Natalie and Talvin are joined by tuba player Iain McDonald.

Al Murray

Al Murray with his alter-ego, The Pub Landlord, is one of the most recognizable and successful comics in the UK. As a writer Al has enjoyed great success with his books Book of British Common Sense, and Think Yourself British.

Anthony Geffen

Anthony Geffen is one of the world’s leading documentary and film producers. He leads Atlantic’s creative team and is a pioneer in virtual reality and 3D. His multiple awards include being the first filmmaker to win two Best Specialist Factual Academy Awards (BAFTAs) and three Emmys for a single documentary.

Francesca Beard

Francesca Beard is a London-based, Malaysian-born performer, writer and educator who represents contemporary British culture all round the world with the British Council. Her multi-media one woman shows have toured nationally and she’s been commissioned to write pieces for The Barbican, Young Vic, National and Royal Court Theatres. and had plays on BBC Radio 3 and 4.

Gaia Vince

Gaia Vince is a writer and broadcaster specializing in science and the environment. She has been the front editor of the journal Nature Climate Change, the news editor of Nature and online editor of New Scientist. She also devises and presents science programmes for BBC radio. Her first book, Adventures In The Anthropocene: A journey to the heart of the planet we made, won the Royal Society Winton Prize for Science Books in 2015.

Krtin Nithiyanandam

Krtin attends Sutton Grammar School in Greater London. Krtin’s passion for neuroscience saw him enter Google’s 2015 annual science fair for which he had been shortlisted as one of just 20 finalists from across the globe. He went on to win the Scientific American Innovator Award.

Laura Kriefman

Laura founded the Bristol-based Guerilla Dance Project, an innovative dance company specializing in augmented dance: a fusion between cutting edge technology, movement, dance, live interactive sounds and visuals. They work on installations and massive spectacles, exploring social interactions with objects within everyday environments to create a real relationship between people and spaces.

Lewis Iwu

Lewis Iwu read politics, philosophy and economics at Oxford University, where he was elected President of the students’ union. Lewis is an active debating coach, having coached the national teams of Hong Kong in 2006, the United Arab Emirates in 2010 and 2011, and the ESU England schools debating team in 2012. He is a former World Universities Debating Champion. Lewis also helped set up Debate Mate, which teaches debating in more than 240 state schools in some of the UK’s most deprived areas. He is currently the Director of the Fair Education Alliance. The alliance of 55 organisations, including universities, companies and NGOs seeks to tackle education inequality and increase social mobility across the UK.

Lucie Green

Lucie is a Professor of Physics and a Royal Society University Research Fellow based at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory, UCL’s Department of Space and Climate Physics and studies activity in the atmosphere of our nearest star, the Sun.

Mark Champkins

Mark Champkins is a product designer and the Science Museum’s first ever “Inventor in Residence”. Mark studied Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Cambridge and Industrial Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art (RCA). Whilst at the RCA, Champkins designed a range of Self-Heating Crockery which won British Invention of the Year.

Paul Franklin

Paul Franklin has been creating spectacular visual effects for over 25 years. Co-founder of Double Negative Visual Effects – one of the world’s leading digital visual effects studios – Paul is perhaps best known for his long-running collaboration with director Christopher Nolan. Paul’s work has featured in more than thirty films including “Inception” and “Interstellar”, both of which brought him Oscars for Best Visual Effects. Coming from a Fine Arts background Paul has also maintained a life-long interest in science.

Sophie Scott

Professor Sophie Scott is a cognitive neuroscientist at University College London’s Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience. Her research explores both verbal and non verbal communication and the human brain, studying how the brain supports communication and how this can go wrong.

Stephen Hawking

Professor Stephen Hawking is one of the world's best known scientists. He has worked on the basic laws which govern the universe and published best-selling books including A Brief History of Time.

Steve Bartlett

Steve Bartlett is a 23 year old British entrepreneur, public speaker, and the Chief Executive Officer of influencer marketing agency Social Chain. He received the Lloyds TSB young entrepreneur of the year award in 2013 for his success in creating a web based platform aimed at students.

Sundeep Dhillon

Sundeep studied Medicine at the University of Oxford and served as a General Practitioner with British Airborne Forces for 20 years with multiple short-notice deployments to austere environments. He has visited and worked in over 70 countries on every continent, and in every environment from the deserts of Antarctica and the Sahara, via the jungles of Africa, Central America and Asia to the high mountain ranges of the world.
