The theme of this year’s TEDxAmoskeagMillyard event is EVOLVE, the natural process of change that mixes time, ideas, and experimentation with challenges and opportunities to create the future. The principles of evolution were first applied to biological processes, but it has become a powerful metaphor for our ever-changing world, a world always in a state of flux, on its way from what it was to what it will be. Our notions about ourselves, our communities, and our lives change too. Sometimes those transformations are so small only the keenest observer notices, but other times it sparks revolutions that echo through time. Together, we’ll explore the new ideas and bold experiments reshaping the world around us.
