Theme: The Little Things In Life

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He learned and regularly practiced twice a day Transcendental Meditation (TM) as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Already 30 years ago he also got trained as a TM teacher. Today he is a school counselor and naturopath in Ayurvedic medicine. His goal is to make the knowledge of the integration of life – inner and outer – available to everyone and particularly in the field of education, for less stress and more happiness in life.

Lucy Koechlin is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Social Anthropology, University of Basel, Switzerland. She teaches a wide range of courses in development studies, and is a leading expert on governance and anti-corruption. She also worked for various international organizations notably as a vice president of Transparency International Switzerland.

Philippe Becquelin is a famous Swiss drawer and the founder of the satirical cartoon magazine “Mix & Remix”. He is currently drawing for numerous newspapers such as “le Matin Dimanche” (CH), “L’Hebdo” (CH), “Courrier international” (FR) of “l’Internazionale” (IT).
