Ann Sado
Ann Sado, 3rd generation Japanese-American, born in Tokyo but having lived in Seattle and Los Angeles, graduated from Occidental College and returned to Japan to get her Masters in Japanese Classical Dance and Theater at Waseda University Graduate School. She was always interested in the balance of the ying and yang or the feminine and the masculine, since being a professional Japanese classical dancer with the name Iwai Shikou, she had to dance both the male and the female parts! In business, she was able to use these skills successfully in cosmetics becoming Marketing Manager of Estée Lauder's Aramis, men's cosmetics, and then being headhunted to be the Group Product Manager, Marketing, and Brand Development Manager of Lancôme, Helena Rubinstein and Institut de Beauté. From 1995 she started up her A TO Z Sado Enterprises Limited, since she wanted to do everything from A to Z and focused on being a social entrepreneur. Her talk focuses on the Female & Male within us all.
