Faty S. Project
Faty.S Project is the result of the meeting of singer Fatima Zahra Sedkane (Morocco), and pianist/arranger Daniel Eastcott (Canada). In 2015 they found themselves in Marrakech, a city of exchanges and cultural abundance, and began reinterpreting popular songs. This gave them the opportunity to perform all over the country, all the while refining their original compositions for the Faty.S Project. This mix of cultures and influences (Jazz, Soul, Arabic, Electro, and Pop) gave birth to their Soul/World sound, which you can listen for on their upcoming releases.
