Born in Brooklyn, New York, son of veteran film and stage actress Teresa Yenque, José Yenque has over a decade of experience as a professional actor and devoted humanitarian, which earned him an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from California State University, San Marcos.

From being a shy, overweight, stuttering teenager, he became a confident actor, at home on both the theatrical and “real world” stages.
