This June 16th TEDxCapeTown is planning an event around South Africa's future - the youth. We are hosting our salon event at the Bandwidth Barn in Khayelitsha, where we will focus on important lessons and ideas that help support the development of the most treasured demographic in South Africa - our children. This event is not just for those under 18... we encourage all of the TEDxCapeTown community to spend a morning with us learning lessons that are being taught by children and thought leaders across the globe.
In keeping with the overall theme for TEDxCapeTown this year, Access: Energy, Education and Elephants will be navigating the complex concept of access itself. We hope that this event will get minds, young and old thinking about how in their daily lives they can increase access to resources kids need to thrive!
Entrance is R50.00 with an additional free entry if you bring an under 18 along. Or for those dynamic young people that want to bring an adult they think needs to be schooled.
Half price for all under 18.
Price includes a morning snack, beverages and awesome vegan soup and bread for lunch.
