In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Abdelrahman Said (Gedoo) is currently studying business administration at the faculty of commerce English department, Alexandria university. Abdelrahman has started Beat Boxing since 2005. He also took part in world Beat Boxing battle in 2012.

Ahmed has obtained BSC of Urban planning, Alazhar University. He is Working as an Urban planner and designer at ARCHPLAN consultant office for planning and architecture. He is complementing several projects including designing a sustainable walkable district in the new "El-Alamein" city. Currently, He is part of the teamwork working on the strategic general and detailed plan for the Administrative Capital.

Ahmed Farag Ali

DR. Ahmed Farag Ali is a Theoretical / Mathematical Physicist who has many contributions in Gravitational Physics, open problems in Black Holes, Cosmology, Quantum Gravity, Quantum Gravity Phenomenology and String Phenomenology. Dr. Ahmed is an assistant professor at Benha University, Egypt. He got his B.Sc. With Excellent Honors degree from Benha University in 2003. In Sept 2006 he joined ICTP, Trieste, Italy and got ICTP diploma in High energy Physics in Aug 2007. After that, he obtained his Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics in 2008 from Benha University and obtained his PhD degree from University of Lethbridge, Canada in January 2012.

Ahmed Mamdouh

He graduated from the faculty of engineering, Alexandria university. He has experience in the information technology and the development of Web programs and project management. The Founder of Mamdouh Com blog which Concerned with spreading knowledge in economics and political and economic strategies. He is going to explain the concept of choice and decision-making strategies and non- visible impact on a personal level and the international community

Ahmed Saad Zayed

Ahmed Saad Zayed is a philosophy lecturer who aims at increasing the public’s awareness towards different cultures, religions and philosophies through his lectures at "Jesuit Alexandria" cultural center, "Freedom center for culture and innovation" -Alexandria and "Secularists Saloon" – Cairo and his own YouTube program. Mr.Ahmed has obtained a Bachelor of Political Science at Alexandria University, a Diplomat of Political Economics in, Alexandria University, a Diplomat of Islamic Law (The Higher Institution for Arabic and Islamic Studies – Cairo). Moreover, he has taken University Courses in Western Philosophy at Oxford University and Yale University. He took part in many global conferences (e.g. Conferences of the Muslim community in France and UK, ICCJ's conference in Germany, International Sufism conference) He gives regular Lectures at "Jesuit Alexandria" cultural center, "Freedom center for culture and innovation" – Alexandria and "Secularists Saloon" – Cairo.

Diaa Mohamed

Diaa is a Freestyle Football player who took part in many football Free Style competitions (e.g. Redbull's, and Guinness's competitions). Diaa is creating his own new moves trying to move with the game into another level. He is an accounting student at faculty of commerce, Alexandria University. He has worked in the field of tourism and sport animation. Diaa has started with playing football in Aletihad club. Being unable to make a contract. His career has ended in the ordinary football game. However, it was his gate towards the freestyle world.

Mina Rafaat

Mina has obtained bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. He has also done Postgraduate studies in International Business Management, Hochschule Karlsruhe, Germany. Moreover, Mina has worked as a technical Support Advisor, Vodafone UK. He got a research Internship, ExxonMobil and was an operation Engineer intern, PepsiCo. Currently, Mina is a project Engineer at Schneider Electric. Mina is 25 years old who has traveled to 12 countries that made him exposed to several and different challenges, get different stories and much experience to share.He has worked in the team of PR & Marketing responsibility in Ain shams special unit and was an international Volunteer in AIESEC.

Mohammed ElRaffie

Mohamed is a social entrepreneur who founded Competition for Robot Design (CORD) that challenges groups of young people to create a robot that moves utilizing only the everyday materials littering their homes or communities and very low cost store-bought items, if necessary. Mohammed aims to reform the Egyptian education through his company. Mohammed is an Ashoka fellow "Global Organization of Social entrepreneurs" in the field of education enhancement. He has been working in the science communication field since 2007. He is also an MIT pan Arab Alumni, a Synergos Fellow and a finalist in Forbs 30 under 30.

Rana Rashed

Rana is an 18-year old student who is passionate about singing. She started singing when she was 10. Rana has a strong voice and a unique talent to sing operatic songs.

Salma Said

Salma Said is a 5th year medical student at Alexandria university. She participated in conducting researches. She always tries to find a relation between what is around her and her studies. She will talk about what we can reach without knowing what is this.

Shady Abdulhafez

Shady Abdulhafez is a pharmacist and a founder of the Cosmology Amateur club at Delta. He is mainly concerned with natural Science and philosophy. He has an encyclopedic tendency towards learning and reading in all fields knowledge. He has published many types of research and articles at El Araby El Gadid and Misr El Araby. Dr. Shady is well-known for his amazing way of simplifying complicated theories and ideas in science and philosophy.
