Lisa Nash
Lisa leads Blue Planet Network to increase the impact of safe drinking water programs for people around the world. Blue Planet Network’s 90+ member organizations have empowered one million people with clean water. In 2012, Lisa was awarded The Silicon Valley 100 Women of Influence Award.
Lisa has 25+ years of domestic and international experience building brands and customer communities at companies that include Yahoo!, E*TRADE, Charles Schwab, VISA and American Express.
Lisa lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two daughters. Lisa holds a B.A. with Honors from Swarthmore College and a Graduate Certificate in Mandarin Chinese from National Taiwan Normal University.
Sally Thornton
Sally founded Forshay to build a new business model for how top talent can engage with some of the Bay Area's most progressive companies, through an on-demand model that provides "just enough" structure to support their best work, or through direct-hire opportunities. Sally has extensive experience addressing the unique talent needs of the Bay Area's most remarkable companies, having worked with iconic leaders such as Genentech and Levi Strauss, rapid-growth start ups including ngmoco:) and Sonos, and radically creative companies like Method Home and IDEO. Prior to creating Forshay, Sally co-founded Flexperience in 2006, growing it into a nationally acclaimed talent firm that was named in 2010 to San Francisco Business Times' "Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies".
Zabreen Khan
Zabreen in currently a student at Stanford studying Science, Technology & Society as well as Creative Writing. At Stanford, she leads the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES) as well as MINT Magazine. Zabreen also takes a keen interest in philanthropy and helps raise funds with the Alpha Phi Organization to support women’s heart health.
Before Stanford, Zabreen attended Phillips Exeter Academy, and has also worked hard to promote women’s education in her hometown, Lahore, Pakistan. Her writing about women’s education and her journey from Pakistan has been published in the Bailey Powers Collection.
Zabreen is eager to see more women take charge in the tech and VC world. In her spare time, Zabreen enjoys reading the Sunday Edition of the New York Times and is always searching for the next best recipe for chocolate chip cookies.
