Bryan Baruga
Bryan Buraga is a Grade 11 student from Prince of Wales Mini School in
Vancouver. An avid environmentalist with a penchant for international
affairs, he is the Director of Kids for Climate Action. When he isn't busy
planning political campaigns, he is heavily involved in the world of Model
United Nations, and enjoys playing the ukulele in his free time.
Daniel Dian
Daniel Dian is a grade 8 student in the Tri Cities area. He has won
numerous public speaking awards within the community over the past several
years. He enjoys playing sports, volunteering his time to help the
community, and practicing some musical instruments.
Julia Kim
Julia Kim is a grade 12 student at Terry Fox Secondary.Julia is an ordinary teenager trying to determine what she would like to do with her life.While her dreams are not just limited to her career
aspiration, she wishes to pursue a career in sciences to help improve health care.She is very excited to be a speaker at TEDxGleneagleSecondary.
Nathan Boey
Nathan Boey is currently a second-year student in Simon Fraser University studying Business Administration. Nathan has gotten involved in his school community by organizing business conferences over the past year, but this year, his goal is to step out of his comfort zone and do something he hasn’t done before.
Sean La
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia and raised in the nearby suburb of Coquitlam, Sean has held the long-standing belief that the secret to happiness are corgis and laughter from said corgis. He currently studies Mathematics at Simon Fraser University, where he enjoys coding, reading and explaining the follies of neoclassical economics to any poor soul that walks his way.
Solomon Yu
Solomon is a 17-year old student graduating from Pinetree
Secondary this year. He likes puns, martial arts and bubble tea and
apparently talks too much for his own good. Solomon is passionate about
traveling, and hopes to become a teacher someday.
