Το TEDxUniversityofMacedonia είναι ένας ανεξάρτητος οργανωμένος φορέας του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας που έχει ως σκοπό να δημιουργήσει μία πλατφόρμα όπου νέοι άνθρωποι θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να μοιραστούν τος ιδέες τους, να αλληλεπιδράσουν μεταξύ τους, να καινοτομήσουν και να φέρουν θετικές αλλαγές στην πανεπιστημιακή κοινότητα. Το TEDxUniversityofMacedonia διεξάγεται για τρίτη συνεχή χρονιά και διοργανώνεται εθελοντικά από τους φοιτητές του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας. Εδώ και τρια χρόνια έχει καταφέρει να προσφέρει βήμα σε ιδέες που αξίζει να διαδοθούν και να αποτελεί έναυσμα για αλλαγή και δράση σε όλη τη φοιτητική κοινότητα και ευρύτερα στο νεανικό κοινό της Θεσσαλονίκης.

TEDxUniversityofMacedonia is an independently organized TED-like event, which is run volunteerly by a team of approximately 15 students of University of Macedonia. Through ideas worth spreading our aspect is to develop an open platform where young people can share ideas, interact, innovate, discuss and change the university‘s community in a positive way. TEDxUniversityofMacedonia was organized for the first time 2 years ago when a young student dared to take the initiative to organize the first TEDx University event in Northern Greece. Since then, TEDxUniversityofMacedonia has managed to give voice to ideas worth spreading and constitute a reason for change and action in the community of universities and generally of young people of Thessaloniki.

BLIND SPOT

Έχετε αναρωτηθεί ποτέ ότι πίσω από τα πιο μικρά και ασήμαντα της καθημερινότητας μπορεί να κρύβονται ευκαιρίες και επιλογές, που ποτέ δεν είχατε παρατηρήσει; Έχετε σκεφτεί πόσες διαφορετικές όψεις θα δείτε αν ξεκινήσετε να βλέπετε ένα αντικείμενο πέρα από όσα η οπτική γωνία σας σας επιτρέπει; Από πόσες διαφορετικές οπτικές μπορείτε να δείτε ένα είδωλο στον καθρέπτη?

Το θέμα του TEDxUniversityofMacedonia 2015 είναι το «Blind Spot» και εστιάζει στις διαφορετικές οπτικές γωνίες που μπορεί να ανακαλύψει κάποιος αν κοιτάξει προσεκτικά κάθετί γύρω του, αν κοιτάξει πίσω από καταστάσεις, αντικείμενα και συμπεριφορές. Όλα στον κόσμο γύρω δεν έχουν μόνο μια διάσταση ή μόνο μία όψη, αλλά κρύβουν πίσω τους περισσότερα από όσα φαίνονται με την πρώτη ματιά.

Η συνεχής προσωπική αναζήτηση,καθώς και η δεκτικότητα στην αποδοχή του διαφορετικού αποτελούν το εφαλτήριο της αναζήτησης και της ανακάλυψης μια νέας οπτικής. Προαπαιτούμενο όλων είναι το πάθος για ζωή και η θέληση να αφουγκραστεί κανείς τα ερεθίσματα γύρω του, προκειμένου να αδράξει κάθε ευκαιρία που υψώνεται μπροστά του. Να ακολουθήσει νέα μονοπάτια γνώσης.

Η παραπάνω αναζήτηση καθιστά τον καθένα πιο παρατηρητικό και όχι παθητικό θεατή του κόσμου γύρω του. Σε αυτό το σημείο, αλλάζει ο τρόπος σκέψης και αντίληψης. Συνειδητοποιεί τις ευκαιρίες και τις επιλογές που ήταν και είναι μπροστά του, αλλά δεν είχε στρέψει ποτέ την προσοχή του σε αυτές εξαιτίας του φόβου, της ασφάλειας που προσφέρει η συνήθεια και των παρωπίδων του.

Η διοργάνωση του TEDxUniversityofMacedonia 2015 έχει στόχο να αποτελέσει την αφορμή, ώστε ο κάθε νέος να είναι ανοιχτός στα ερεθίσματα που λαμβάνει, να τα φιλτράρει και να τα αξιοποιεί, συνδυάζοντας τα με τις γνώσεις και την προσωπικότητά του. Με αυτό τον τρόπο, θα αλλάξει ο τρόπος σκέψης του για πολλά από όσα, μέχρι εκείνη τη στιγμή θεωρούσε δεδομένα και βρίσκονταν δίπλα του αλλά δεν τα είχε παρατηρήσει.

Stand up Comedians

Αρχιτέκτονας, Advanced manufacturing officer, FirstV1sion member

Λίγα λόγια για τους κωμικούς  Η Ήρα Κατσούδα ασχολείται επαγγελµατικά µε το stand up comedy από το 2006. Έχει παίξει σε θέατρα, πολυχώρους, αλλά και µικρές ανεξάρτητες σκηνές σε όλη την Ελλάδα. Ιδρυτικό µέλος της stand up comedy οµάδας S.U.T. Το 2012 έγραψε και ανέβασε το sold out κωµικό show "Ο ΓΑΜΟΣ" που παιζόταν για 2 χρόνια στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Εργάζεται ως ηθοποιός και κειµενογράφος διαφηµίσεων. Σπούδασε Οικονοµικά (Α.Π.Θ.) και υποκριτική (studio Φλέµινγκ).  Ο Ανδρέας Πασπάτης ξεκίνησε την επαγγελµατική του ενασχόληση µε την κωµωδία το 2007 ως µέλος της οµάδας S.U.T. Έχει παίξει σε θέατρα και µπαρ σε Ελλάδα & Αγγλία και έχει συνεργαστεί µε διακεκριμένους Έλληνες και ξένους κωµικούς. Ιδρυτής και πρόεδρος της comedy society του Brunel University, παραδίδει stand up comedy workshops, διοργανώνει βραδιές open mic και έχει συµµετάσχει σε παραστάσεις του comedy central του Λονδίνου. Σπούδασε Πληροφορική (Α.Π.Θ.) και Game Design (Brunel University London).

Alex Goudas

Alex Goudas is a Songwriter, Philologist. He was born in Thessaloniki, he comes from Kastoria , with roots from Epirus. General studies at Philology and non-general ones at music. Classic guitar, involved in music scenes and then in 2008 here comes the first award in the Music Song Festival in Thessaloniki with the song “Fantastic Tango”. Later, backstage, a production company named CLOSART and a vivid cultural activity in Kastoria. Regular articles’s writing for both written and on line press (protagon.gr– mediasoup.gr -only theater- alexisgoudas.blogspot.com ). Founding member of the “Diadrasis” body- a youngsters’ volunteering group against the internet addiction. For the last two years he has been running into somewhere between Cyprus and Greece, completing, at the same time, 2 books and a music fairytale for children. He believes in the «impossible”…..so he may eventually sap the “possible”.!

Alexander Remizov

Alexander Remizov graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARCHI).In 1995 he founded the architectural studio Remistudio, which entered the top 50 sustainable architectural studios in the World. Author of more than 50 architectural and urban projects and more than 30 articles and publications in the field of sustainable architecture and "green" building. Modern architecture operates based on two principles. The first one is the protection of any natural disastrous phenomenon and the second is the preservation of the natural habitat. Floating cities as a new-born architectural development, obey to the above mentioned principles. Even if it sounds like a science fiction scenario, they may provide solutions and answers to the green house effect, to the forever increasing water-sea levels and the dwelling problem. With an emphasis put in the exploitation of the tidal and solar energy, they promise a better management of the energy itself and an ultimate autonomy.

Anastasia Pistofidou

Anastasia Pistofidou is architect and fashion designer,who works at wearable technology field, as a member of Fab Lab at Barcelona. Wearable technology cannot be downgraded to simple gadgets,accessories and 3d prints but there is a whole world to discover when you start working with solutions that are integrated into your clothing and being an extension of the body. Anastasia Pistofidou explains to us that wearable technology is not a brand new achievement, but nowadays is accesible to all.

Ioannis Nestoros

Nestoros Ioannis is psychiatrist and Professor of clinical psychology at University of Crete and he experts at Neurofeedback of human brain.He also writes lots of scientific articles and magazines. Moreover,he had been awarded with Albert Einstein at 1986 and he was described as one of the fifty “Greatest Living Legends” at 2005 by reaserchers of International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England for his contribution at «Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Neuroscience.»

John Tzavlopoulos

John Tzavlopoulos is Managing Director at UPGRADE.

Konstantinos Karpouzis

Dr.Konstantinos Karpouzis is Head of research at Institute of communication and computer systems (ICCS) at National Technical University of Athens. He research ways, in which computers and robot systems can understand human emotions and adapt to them, using the sensors that we can find in our computers and mobile phones and listening to our words or watching our expressions and movements.

Makis Kalaras

Makis Kalaras is an athlete of Paralympic Games and lies behind the establishment of Keros For All centre in Limnos island. This sport center gives the rare opportunity of practicing sports to disabled people and support loudly the rights of that group of people.

Michael Kountouris

Nikolas Ouranos is a relationship expert, best selling author and certificated marriage mentor,in Greece and Cyprus.

Panagiotis Matzoufas

Panagiotis Matzoufas is constitutionalist and professor at Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At TEDx Stage he speaks about visible and invisible points of communication in media.

Tony Maha Evagelopoulou

Mrs. Tony Maha Evagelopoulou was born in Athens. She studied Psychology in Greece, United States and France. She has worked in the legal department of the National Organisation of Employment in Greece, as well as in the department of mental health of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. She is the founder and director, for a 15 consecutive years, at the center of Pre-school and School Education. She specialized, in Paris, in the Center of acoustico-psycho-phonology (Tomatis method) and worked close with Alfrend Tomatis. She attended seminars and conducted researches correlated to the acoustico-psycho-phonology. Since 1987 she runs the Center of acoustico-psycho-phonology , part of the Tomatis Center in France, in which the diagnostic and therapeutic Tomatis method is applied.
