TedxYouth@PickeringValley is hosting it's 4th annual Tedx Event on May 11th from 2-3PM at Pickering Valley Elementary School. This year's theme is Exploration and is being hosted by Pickering Valley's own 4th graders, Eloise Hagelauer and Atharv Gopulani. The focus will be on Sea and Space Exploration with two Tedx videos and two live speakers from our local communities. Evelyn Bartram Dudas, a living legend was the first woman to dive the Sunken Luxury Liner "Andrea Doria" which is considered the Mt. Everest of Diving. She was inducted into the First Class of the Woman Divers Hall of Fame in 2000. Jonathan Gabrys, is Technical Fellow and Manager of Advanced Structural Analysis at Boeing's Aviation and Aerospace division. He is most noted for his work with NASA in supporting the Shuttle Columbia's Investigation. The event is planned and developed by the students with the help of their parents and Mrs.Vanim.
