Elisa Frangaj is a junior at Fordham College Rose Hill studying biology and sociology. Her talk on friendship will dive into the intricacies of emotional bonds and their importance to our lives. Through personal examples, she will explain how vulnerability leads to intimacy and how intimacy is the foundation of all relationships.
Elizabeth Clark
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Liz Clark is a clinical psychologist and the Coordinator of Outreach and Prevention at Fordham University CPS - Rose Hill. She received her Doctor of Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at University of Illinois - Chicago's Counseling Center prior to joining the Fordham community in the Fall of 2014.
Manavjeet Sidhu
MD/MBA Student at NYU
Manavjeet Sidhu is pursuing a dual degree MD/MBA at NYU School of Medicine and NYU Stern School of Business. He has worked extensively to improve access to healthcare domestically as well as in underdeveloped countries through research and innovative solutions for problems that are endemic to marginalized populations.
Marcus Cimino
MD/MBA Student at NYU
Marcus Cimino is a dual degree MD/MBA Student at NYU School of Medicine and NYU Stern School of Business. He has experience working abroad with Global Medical Brigades and acted as the treasurer for his local chapter. His interest in helping underserved populations grew while he was the treasurer and was a finalist for the Dalai Lama Fellowship. In medical school, he was the fundraising co-ordinator for the NYC Free Clinic. With plans to be a Neurologist, Marcus also conducts research in medical education. He will talk about the medicinal benefits of meditation, and how it affects the brain.
Patrick Kurth
Student at Fordham University
Patrick Kurth is a former goat farmer, a current admirer of Alexander Calder, and a soon-to-be graduate of FCLC’s International Studies Program. He owns several broken cameras and a dozen rolls of expired film; they gather dust on a wobbly bookshelf next to a Czech chessboard. Mr. Kurth hopes to further study the will to power in politics and advocate for social justice reforms at home and abroad, but he might open a bakery with his sister instead.
Paul J. Schutz
PhD Candidate at Fordham University
Paul Schutz is a Doctoral Candidate in Systematic Theology at Fordham and Assistant Director of Liturgical Music for Campus Ministry. He entered the world of theology through work as a professional liturgist and liturgical musician. His research interests include the doctrine of God and theological anthropology as viewed through the lens of science. Specifically, he explores how traditional questions of divine causality, the God-world relationship, theosis, and worship fit within the evolutionary and cosmological framework presented by scientific inquiry.
Priyanka Srinivasan
Student at Fordham University
Priyanka Srinivasan is a sophomore at Fordham studying psychology, interested in going to med school and pursuing psychiatry afterwards. She is currently working on a project with another college student called Love Your Mind that works to positively educate young people on mental illnesses and donate care packages to children and adolescents who are currently dealing with mental illness.
Sabina De Matteo

Sabina De Matteo is a 2013 Fordham alum. She currently works as Community Manager for Swift Kick, a small company dedicated to training community leaders to create a campus culture that makes every student feel welcomed, connected, and engaged. She was an active member of FUPAC for 4 years and considers it to be her family. Outside of work, she blogs, writes poetry, crosswords, puzzles, Pinterests, and goes to bed way too early for someone her age. She has successfully transitioned from being called "mom" by everyone to being a total grandma. #AMDG
