Evan Pezant is a junior at Oak Mountain High School. He is a singer/songwriter and guitarist, and his passion is music and performance. Ever since he was five years old, he has been drawn to singing. He first started performing at the age of seven with the children’s choir. Ever since that first performance, he knew he wanted to become one of the greats. He then became a member of the Birmingham Boys Choir and trained under Ken Berg.

Nina Reeves, a Mountain Brook Resident who just celebrated her 90th birthday, is infamous for her storytelling. Previously the Youth Director for the Methodist Church in the North Alabama Conference for over 40 years, Nina has influenced and empowered youth not only with her storytelling, but with her leadership. A fan of Appalachian stories, Nina will shared the art of storytelling with TEDxYouth@MBJH.
