Alan Berkson
Alan Berkson is one of the world's oldest digital natives, having started out programming punch cards at the age of 13 in 1978. His career has spanned a large portion of the Information Revolution and he was an early adopter of social and digital media. Through his popular blog and speaking engagements he has shared his insights on digital media and what he calls pervasive communications and their impact on how we communicate, work and learn. He has a passion for community and storytelling and how they drive connections, collaboration and innovation for organizations. He's also dedicated to help move our educational system into the 21st Century and advises his local workforce investment board and school district on digital skills development. Debra Phillipes Drattell
Debra Phillipes Drattell, a native New Yorker, graduated from Duke University and Harvard Law school. She began her legal career in San Francisco; and then lived in Los Angeles for 25 years, where she raised her children and continued her law practice. In 2010, Debra returned to NY to marry her high school sweetheart (after 35 years apart!) Last year, Debra was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Lisa Osherow
Lisa is extremely passionate about helping to reduce sexual violence on college campuses and creating a safer culture for everybody. She received her Masters from New York University in Health Education, specializing in Sexuality. Lisa is currently an Health and Sexuality Educator whose mission is to provide parents and children the facts as well as the skills necessary to make healthier choices and reduce their risks.
Pamela Barkley
Pamela Barkley has been working to help people find a place where they fit in for over 18 years. First as a Social Worker in Therapeutic Foster Care, and then as the Director of Education at a synagogue in New York, she is driven to connect people to the feeling of belonging that comes from being part of a community. Pam is an enthusiastic supporter of anything that gets people to know one another and can therefore be slightly obsessive about the use of nametags and icebreaker activities. Pam currently works as an independent consultant where she uses her energy to coach individuals and organizations towards their personal and professional goals.
