We will host a live screening of the Session 2 of the TEDWomen 2015 Conference which will take place the same day in Monterey, California (USA).
TEDWomen 2015 is a TED event curated by TED and Pat Mitchell that focuses on women and women’s issues. TEDxWomen events are TEDx events hosted around the live webcast of TEDWomen, and may also feature local speakers. Our event is called TEDxEauxVivesWomen and is one of many TEDx events happening around the globe on May 28 that will expand on the ideas brought up at TEDWomen.
The theme of TEDWomen 2015 is "Momentum. Moving forward. Gaining speed. Building traction".
The live-streaming will broadcast talks from Margaret Heffernan, management thinker, Rich Benjamin, social observer, Roxane Gay, writer, Lerato Mokobe, poet, Elizabeth Nyamayaro, political scientist, and Pardis Sabeti, computational geneticist.
The event is co-organised with the Women's Business Society and Giving Women.
