Our event will showcase 7 speakers. These speakers come from diverse fields like Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Languages, Aerospace Engineering, and the Performing Arts. They will be talking about ideas or significant experiences in relation to theme. The sub-themes are: “Believe in your expertise, embrace the future.”

John Francis Diaz

Dr. Diaz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Finance and Department of Accounting, ​​​​College of Business, ​​Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) Chungli City, Taiwan. He is the Secretary of the Association for Chinese Management Educators, and also a ​Research Associate in the Quality Development & Accreditation Office of CYCU. He is currently a reviewer of several journal whose main focus is on international business and management. His research interests are in modeling financial and economic time-series and panel data, particularly using non-linear methods. He has authored several journal publications both locally and internationally.

Jyh-Tong Teng

Dr. Teng got his PhD from the University of California in Berkeley. He was a professor of Chung Yuan Christian University in the Mechanical Engineering department. He previously worked as a senior engineer and tech leader at General Electric and has been an advocate of Nuclear Energy for several years. His research interests include microelectronic components and cooling system , nuclear safety and severe accident analysis , plasma source collimation research, microfluidic channel , engine , fire, and space heat flow phenomena simulation.

Shih-Wen Ke

Dr. Ke is an assistant professor of Chung Yuan Christian University at the Information and Computer Engineering department. He got his PhD in the University of Sunderland, UK. His research focuses on Information Retrieval, Machine Learning,Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, Web Systems. Dr. Ke got his PhD at a very young age and has continued to inspire students to reach more heights through creativity and critical thinking

Wen-Yaw Chung

Dr. Wen-Yaw (Danny) Chung is a professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU). He is a Senior Member of the IEEE which is the official international organization of electrical and electronics engineers. He is the director of the Mixed – Signal VLSI and ASIC Research Lab in CYCU. He is the coordinator for the “Microelectronic Engineering and Applications Program” elite study in Taiwan of CYCU. He was previously the design manager of the United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), senior design engineer at the Advanced Microelectronics Division of the Institute for Technological Development, MS, USA, and associate process engineer at the Electronic Research and Service Organization (ERSO, ITRI, Taiwan. His research interests include, but are not limited to, CMOS analog and digital circuit design for biomedical and environmental applications, wireless sensor networks for precision aqua- and agricultural applications.

彥升 陳

Dr. Yen-Shan Chen is involved in the National Space Organization in Taiwan ROC, and is one of the lead proponents of the Advanced Rocket Research Center, ARRC, Taiwan. Dr. Chen, started out as a little boy curious about how a harbor ship moves through its propellers. This lead him to dream big especially that of building a rocket for Taiwan.
