The more advanced we have become, the larger the gaps between one another have grown. The larger the gaps between one another, the longer and stronger the bridges are to be built. Although it plays so many roles in our lives, we never seem to notice it: "The Bridge".
A bridge is more than a pile of steel and concrete that stretches between two points: there is more to it than that. Regardless of the undeniable necessity of the physical bridge, we come to discuss it in its metaphorical condition, a bridge between a man and a woman has always been desired since Adam first met Eve; another bridge between nature and mankind, and the bridge between the theory and the practice was noticed missing. Later a bridge between the colors and their various shades, between science and life and the bridge between our past, present and future were the main issues of humanity. With a wide range of diverse speakers, TEDxAIU assures you of the uniqueness of its presenters. From Europe to Africa, passing by Asia and all the way to America, we "bridge" together all different types of speakers, and we guarantee you will build "bridges" too, both physically and intellectually.

Musarath SADER & Mustafa KANORWALA

Musarath Sader and Mustafa Kanorwala are students at Antalya International University. The former a student of architecture and the latter a double major in civil engineering and business administration. Despite their differences in career paths, they both share a common goal of seeking and spreading true knowledge. This was their sole reason to team up and debunk the misconceptions that people may have about Africa.

Ana BADRAJAN

Ana is 19 years old Moldovan girl. She has been studying music since the 2nd grade. During this period she improved high piano skills. Ana has received the 2006,2007,2008 Municipal Canto Contest award, 2007, 2009 the 2nd place at Municipal Contest of Fortepiano Duets. In 2006 and 2008 she was the winner of the 1st and respectively 3rd place at Municipal Fortepiano Contest

Andres Fernando Avila Rozo

Andres Rozo is a business administration student in Antalya International University. He studied for three years a Lower-degree level tertiary education in graphic design in Bogotá, Colombia; therefore, he has a vast experience as a freelance and as an employee in different enterprises in the graphic design environment as well. His passions are focused on arts, especially in drawing, music and motion graphics.

İlker KALDI

İlker KALDI, Ankara Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi’ni bitirdi. Kamuda ve özel sektörde hukukçu, yönetici, danışman ve eğitimci olarak görev yaptı. Yönetim, psikoloji, kişisel gelişim, davranış bilimleri, kalite yönetim sistemleri alanlarında eğitimler aldı. Eğitim ve danışmanlık hizmetlerine siyasal iletişim ve seçim kampanyası yönetimi alanlarında siyasal partilere ve politikacılara danışmanlık yaparak başladı. 2009-2012 yılları arasında Ankara merkezli bir eğitim danışmanlık kurumunda Akdeniz Bölge Müdürü, danışman ve eğitmen olarak çalıştı. 01 Mart 2012 tarihinden itibaren İlker Kaldı Eğitim Danışmanlık markasıyla eğitimler, seminerler ve atölye çalışmaları düzenliyor; danışmanlık hizmetleri veriyor. Bugüne dek 200 kuruma, kuruluşa ve organizasyona 10.000 saati aşkın eğitim, seminer ve danışmanlık hizmeti vermiştir.

Murat KAPLAN

Yaşam Boyu Öğrenci; Yazar; Akademisyen; Ödüllü Savaş Sanatları Ustası İngiliz Dili ve Edebiyatı üzerine lisans eğitimi yaptı. İlki dil öğretim metotları, ikincisi İngiliz Edebiyatı alanlarında olmak üzere yüksek lisans çalışmalarını tamamladıktan sonra, pedagoji ve edebiyat destekli dil öğretim konusunda doktorasını tamamladı. Çoğunlukla İngiliz Dili Edebiyatı alanında ders kitapları yayınlandı. Son yıllarda yazmış olduğu ‘Savaş Sanatları Prensipleri ve Felsefi Işığında Daha Kaliteli Yaşam’ merkezli 5 kitaplık bir serinin ilk ikisi olan ‘Hiç’ ve ‘Hatırla ve Unut’ kitaplarıyla ilgi çekti. NLP, bilinçdışı öğrenme, neuroscience (nöroloji), beden dili, mikro-ifade okuma ve geleneksel Çin Savaş Sanatları’na yoğun ilgisi var.

Rafsan Ahmed

Rafsan is a man who has lived an ordinary life in an extraordinary manner. Born in Southern Bangladesh but raised in three different countries, he had a chance to meet people from all walks of life. His job experience list ranges from working with underprivileged children in Bangladesh to performing in a circus in Oman. Having an immense passion for acting, Rafsan had the opportunity to travel and perform with “The Prismateatern” theater in Skelleftea, Sweden. Rafsan aspires to become a motivational speaker and a leader in his community. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Antalya International University in Turkey.

Sarah Hlaibeih

Sara Hlaibeih was born and raised in the Syrian Mediterranean coastal city of Latakia 'Al-Lazkiye', home of the first alphabet in humanity. After studying literary baccalaureate, she graduated from Tishreen University, the department of English Literature. Started an early teaching career and has been teaching English for eight years. Since her childhood, she developed a passion and curiosity towards languages and linguistics of which she hopes to build a better understanding for through traveling and mingling with other cultures. Dreams of a day when all humans will have equal opportunities.

Shori ZAND

At the age of 24, almost 28 years ago, Shori left her country Iran and moved to Sweden, where she started her new life from nothing, took a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in midwife in 1997. In 2000 she started the first private midwife clinic in Sweden. In 8 years one clinic became 60 clinics and four companies in various fields, with a turnover of 400 million Swedish crowns and 1400 employees. Shori also took part in reforms of the healthcare sector in Sweden and was appointed several government missions including government boards membership and personal advisor to the Vice Premier Minister and the Minister of Business. She represented the private healthcare sector in January in 2009 in the Parliament of Sweden, standing up for the needs of new reforms in the system.

Timur YILMAZ

Timur Yılmaz, Almanya’nın Düsseldorf şehrinde doğdu. Akdeniz Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ni bitirdi, nöroloji alanında uzmanlaştı. 2011 yılından bu yana nörolog olarak çalışıyor; aynı zamanda nöroloji ve spor bilimiyle ilgileniyor. Timur Yilmaz was born in Dusseldorf, Germany. He studied Medicine and graduated from the University of Akdeniz in Antalya, specializing in the field of Neurology. He has been working as a neurologist since 2011 and is also interested in Neuroscience and sports science.
