I heard that the reason why the professor chose Japanese history as his major is that he went through student movements when he was a student of the university of Tokyo and realized that he knew nothing about Japan; therefore, decided to understand the world from studying about Japan. He recognizes Komaba where freshmen and sophomores of the University of Tokyo study as “place to initiate study for just graduated students”. I thought I need to spread his idea to many people including students before Professor Mitani who believe that a role of teachers is to prevail necessity of thinking about current problem of us living in this age retire the university.

Yuki Takeda, a former student of the University of Tokyo, won Teenage Male Grand Champion at 37th and 38th International Whistlers' Convention. You will find his ideas worth spreading with his special talent of expressing beautiful music by whistling which uses no musical instruments but our body itself only. In addition to the whistling, he is also familiar with Venezuelan music, both of which may belong to the unknown world for many and are quite unfamiliar. It is certainly impressive that he tries and succeeds in such musical fields by himself.
