Alexander Tham
Alexander Tham is currently an International Baccalaureate student at BISB and one of the organizers of the TEDxBISB event. Outside of his academic studies Alexander is working with DePAUL Slovakia and teaching English to the less fortunate as part of his CAS activities. He will be speaking about extra-curricular activities and how these contribute to a fuller and broader education using his own experiences during IB.Claudia Tran
Claudia is a BSBA student at the City University of Seattle in Bratislava. In 2012, Claudia represented Slovakia in the US, North Carolina through the US State Department Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship (BFTF) program . BFTF inspired her involvement in international projects concerning European and international affairs. She started her own initiative ‘For Tomorrow’s Europe’ through which she manages international conferences for young people from all over the world. Apart from that, she has also participated in various workshops where she acted as a mentor to youths interested in minority issues with the main focus on immigration. At the TEDx BISB conference she will talk about how volunteering has helped her to Connect her path of Dots.Jan Kerekes
Jan Kerekes had finished his Masters with flying colors, but instead of pursuing his career, he chose to follow his dreams. More than a decade later, after various jobs on four continents and extensive travels through more than hundred countries, Jan is still following the same path. He will tell you why exploring this world is a great way to discover yourself, but also that being lost sometimes is a perfectly normal thing.Josh Silverberg
Josh Silverberg is a thirteen year old Slovak-American living in Bratislava. He has always been fascinated by technology, but has only recently gotten into programming it. He believes that coding will be very useful in the future and it is important to get involved in it as it will be affecting everyone. He would like to continue learning and practicing coding and eventually study it and then hopefully use this knowledge in a future job.Julian Walton

Lillian Palmbach is a BISB alumnus herself, however now resides in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is currently working with UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina as on three Human Security projects. She will be speaking about cultural heritage in times of conflict and overall, remnants of war in all its aspects.Matej Novak
Matej Novak is a 17 year old IB student at the British International School of Bratislava. Despite being born in Slovakia, he lived in Vienna for four years and only recently moved back to Bratislava. He has always been fascinated by maths, sciences, and problem solving and that's probably the reason why he has a very strong passion for computing.Nikolay Nikolov
Nikolay Nikolov is 24 years old and is currently working for Al Jazeera's digital platform AJ+. He focuses on engaging people in Europe. He is also a PhD candidate at the University College London, working on the history of Soviet architecture, and the founder of the bilingual online magazine "Banitza". Nikolay is also an alumnus of BISB.Zuzu Hudek
Zuzu Hudek is a professional stage and costume designer. As most artists, she loves to have her creative freedom and that is why she prefers to work with small specified groups eg. theaters for homeless or handicapped people, youngsters or children. However, the amazing part of all this is that she works with little to no budget at all! She will be speaking about Theater as a tool for social therapy and a tool for education, by bringing in her own experiences with Theater!Organizing team
