Theme: New Will New Way

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Consultant Chest/Internal Medicine. He graduated from Leeds University, UK. He has more than 30 years of experience in Internal Medicine. Dean and Founder of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Burao. Active in the field of social development & a researcher in Lunar Astronomy.

Edna Adan Ismail

Edna is the former Foreign Minister of Somaliland. She also served as Somaliland's Minister of Family Welfare and Social Development. She is the director and founder of the Edna Adan Maternity Hospital in Hargeisa and an activist and pioneer in the struggle for the abolition of female genital mutilation.

Fadumo Bihi

Fadumo was a child land-mine victim during the Somali Civil War. She is a mother, a university graduate, a full-time employee and a motivational speaker.

Farha Abdirahman Yousef

Graduated from Hargeisa University Faculty of Islamic Studies. Worked as a teacher for 7 years. Currently, A KG educator at SOS Children's Village and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Somaliland Life Makers.

Hibaaq Abdullah Saeed

An Educator and Active Youth Volunteer. Business Administration Degree Holder and Diploma in Education from Africa International University. She volunteers to the community through charitable and social projects.

Life Coach & Global Motivational Speaker. Founder & CEO at The Success Institute for Human Development. He studied Psychology at the Islamic Online University & Medical Laboratory Technology at Amoud University.
