New Technologies have always shaped the ages in which we live, but we find ourselves in a time when these shifts and disruptions impact us in the space of a generation or less. One example is the cell phone, introduced just over thirty years ago, with the first ‘smart phone’ appearing in 1993. The cascade of developments since has changed how we live.
