5th Element Crew
5th Element Crew is a bboying crew consisting of five members — Chris “Klasic” Greene, Zuva “Shock” Calhoun, James “Densai” Bigham, Kedar “Kill switch” Calhoun and Chris “C-turtle” Rivers. Bboying was born November 12, 1973 and has four key elements: breaking, emceeing, graffiti, and djing. They came together this year to form 5th Element Crew. The young dancers all come from a different dynamic background and have each brought something unique to make the crew who they are.
Ben Callahan
President of Sparkbox and founder of the Build Right workshop series, Ben shares his ideas about the Web on the Sparkbox Foundry and other leading industry blogs. He’s incredibly grateful for the team at Sparkbox as they pioneer new responsive web design techniques and he continues to push for great user experiences outside the context of specific devices. You can find him speaking around the world, rambling on Twitter, tinkering with his personal site, or splitting wood in his back yard for next winter.
Cameron Heaps
Cameron, better known as ErratiC on stage, has been beatboxing for about 11 years. In middle school, he started out as being the “weird kid” who made strange noises. To improve his rhythm, he started banging on his brother’s drum set to emulate each drum head. In high school, by joining an a cappella group and listening to a variety of music, his vocal percussionist skills developed. After high school he participated in open mics and moved back toward the beatboxers spectrum of the art. Since then, he has made connections with other artists, opening for big and small names such as Blueprint, Del the Funky Homosapien, Cappadonna of Wu-tang Clan, MC Lyte and John Legend.
