Picking a theme for the first TEDxUCF was a difficult task. It was one that required the TEDxUCF team to sit down and consider all the things that the University of Central Florida was known for. When we took into account the variety of subjects studied, the vast number of students, and the multiple demographics that make up UCF, we knew there was a lot to consider.
Finally, we drew it back to what we stand for. Opportunity. Through every medium, club, internship, and class, there is another opportunity to do something. Something to strike a new match and set upon undiscovered land, so to speak. Opportunities Explored dives into an eclectic mix of speakers that challenge you to take, or make, an opportunity to do more.
