Under the theme of “Creating Connections”, we are connecting you with 20+ speakers and performers and their ideas at TEDxChiangMai 2014. The topics range from education; human trafficking; more effectively working with local communities; creative tourism and arts festivals, photography; science; entrepreneurship; national competitiveness through innovation; cinemas, film and storytelling; architecture, landscape design and product design; a Thai going to space; music and musical instruments; reconnecting our children with nature; and how IT and science can create new business opportunities as well as help communities and normal people.

In addition, we will be introducing our own idea, the idea of TEDx events organized by students, schools and universities (TEDxYouth and TED ED). We will be using TEDxChiangMai as a launch pad for this education initiative and event and introduce some of the student speakers that we have worked with. This TEDxYouth event is planned for November 2014.

TEDxChiangMAi 2014 would not be complete without a whole range of activities including the interactive booths, the slackline, head and shoulder massage, painting elephants, constructing and experimenting things, and music.

AND networking, networking, networking: meeting new people, connecting with each other, sharing experiences, great conversations that lead to action… + free coffee, refreshments, great food (lots of it), and a post-event party…

… THAT is TEDxChiangMai.
