TEDxVailLive is a TEDx event where communities gather to watch the live webcast of the official, annual TED conference.

At our event, we had an array of incredible people, who collectively travelled many miles to get here. Roughly 10,600 miles. Or in local conversion units, 3,098 round trips on Vail Mountain's Gondola One. It's a staggering number, considering over 90% of our attendees are from the Vail Valley. TEDxVailLive brought our community together to celebrate TED's 30th anniversary. We are looking forward to next year and seeing what surprises TED has in store for us.

About the TED2014 livestream

We livestreamed TED’s 30th anniversary, and the theme for TED2014 is simply this: “The Next Chapter.” We’ll be asking, what are the most significant developments of the last 30 years? How can we apply that knowledge to understand what’s ahead? We’ve reached out to the world’s greatest minds, and we’re challenging them to help shape a program better than any in our history.
