Our theme of Rethinking Education will continue the conversation from our previous event in May 2013. Our vision is to share the stories that challenge our mindsets, highlight innovations in our schools, showcase the power of education and inspire participants to rethink their perceptions around learning. Through dialogue and presentation, we are striving to create the appetite, vision and momentum for thoughtful change.
The mission of TED is to showcase “ideas worth sharing” and our event last year certainly demonstrated the power of TEDx. With over 100 participants from diverse backgrounds in the worlds of education, business and non-profit; along with over thirty-five thousand views of our talks on the TEDx YouTube channel, we have connected the ideas beyond just our one day event and into the lives of those who attended and around the world.
