Weather guru

Lloyd A. Treinish, leader of the global environmental science team at IBM Research, is an author of 60+ technical articles and recipient of five patents. In his role at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, Lloyd oversees research, development and operations with clients on five continents. He pioneered environmental business operations services including weather, water, energy, climate and sustainability. Treinish is considered the father of Deep Thunder for advanced modelling for weather-sensitive decision-making.
