About the speaker

Social innovation entrepreneur

Durreen Shahnaz is the Founder and Chairwoman of Impact Investment Exchange Asia (IIX), a social stock exchange which will allow Asian social enterprises to raise growth capital (www.asiaiix.com). Shahnaz recently founded Impact Investment Shujog, the awareness-building affiliate organization of IIX. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. Shahnaz is a TED 2010 Fellow.
