About the speaker

Solar visionary

Anil Raj is the Managing Director at OMC Power, a firm working to bring electricity to India’s rural villages by building micropower plants. A veteran of the telecom industry, Raj started India’s first mobile network in his role as the start-up CEO of Hutchinson Max Telecom in India. He later went on to Ericsson, where he held a number of senior management positions and established the company as a market leader in Indonesia and India.
